Equal Opportunities at the ELLIS Institute Tübingen gGmbH
At the ELLIS Institute Tübingen gGmbH, we aim to identify and remove barriers to career development. We focus on providing a supportive atmosphere with individual guidance from mentors and the Equal Opportunities Officer. We also plan to participate in funding programs aimed at supporting young women in AI, including specific scholarships and opportunities.
Our goal is to identify and eliminate any obstacles to the professional growth of all members, particularly encouraging young women to advance their careers in the fields of computer science and AI.
Equality is embedded in our institute’s culture and organizational processes. We continuously encourage all members to participate in gender equality initiatives, ensuring that equal opportunities are an integral part of every decision-making process.
We have formulated clear and ambitious objectives to ensure that the number of female scientists at the institute increases at all levels, ensuring that gender equality remains a priority.
The first Gender Equality Plan (GEP) for our institute covers the years 2025–2028 and we will continue refining our strategies to create an environment where all members, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to succeed and thrive.
