Research GroupComputational Applied Mathematics & AI Lab
The Computational Applied Mathematics & AI Lab (CAMAIL) is a research group at the ELLIS Institute Tübingen and the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems headed by T. Konstantin Rusch.
The research focus of CAMAIL is to develop new AI approaches as well as new computational methods that are more efficient, capable, and theoretically grounded by combining modern Machine Learning with Computational Science and Applied Mathematics. A particular focus is on Physics-inspired Machine Learning, AI-driven advances in Computational Science, and theoretical foundations of AI. Moreover, we pursue a wide range of applications, spanning from scientific applications in physics and neuroscience to robot learning.
