Niccolò is a Research Engineer supporting various projects in the Safety & Efficiency-aligned Learning and Deep Models and Optimization groups. His research focuses on improving understanding of optimization algorithms for neural network training, and making existing methods more robust and efficient. He holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Engineering from Polytechnic of Milan and joined ELLIS after an AI Residency Program at Meta AI.
